Great touch controls are responsive, even when there is slowdown on older devices. Sonic Boom: Sonic Dash 2 plays really well. That said, none of them dramatically change the game – but they do add some nice variation.
Each has different powers, and you are able to switch between your main and support character mid-race to suit the situation. The new playable characters are not just a cosmetic change. When you meet the requirements of these - X collect rings, jump X times, run X meters, etc. To increase your rewards, the game also sets mini-challenges.
Power orbs you come across can be used to activate abilities, while other items purchase improvements, new characters, and more. In Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom it is important to collect everything you find. If you are connected, though, you can also compete in events that offer more substantial rewards. Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom’s modes and levels are all quite predictable, and you can play without an internet connection. These little guys grant you additional powers/abilities, such as increasing the rewards you get or saving you from certain death. You can choose any of these to be your main or support character as you run through the game.Īnother interesting new feature is the elves.
